Project Management

Project Management now forms the most important role to a projects success. Our client’s expectations drive us to carry out projects that are delivered on time and on budget, and to the high level of detail and workmanship that they expect. Of paramount importance is our clients brief and project goals, these core guidelines drive our motivation to make the project a success. 
 
Project Management now forms the core part of our business, and through years of practice, is directly responsible for the success of Haldons. Our experienced construction team provide effective Project Management by applying the robust and proven PRINCE2 project management principles.  
 
PRINCE2 is an internationally recognised qualification in project management. Our staffs are currently trained and fully qualified PRINCE2 practitioners. The stringent training has reinforced the techniques and components that have benefited our projects by ensuring clients objectives are met on time and budget and proven success in the smooth running of a project, ensuring quality, and eliminating risks. 
 
Our team provide clear thinking, client focused project management techniques from inception through to completion, with our clients best interest always at the fore front of our drive. 
 
Post Contract  
 
Following the commencement of work our role as an effective Project Manager comes to the fore. We act as the main point of information and contact for all parties involved ensuring a smooth operation is carried out, attend to problems as they arise and enforce the clients best interest at all times.  
 
Team leadership and co-ordination of all necessary resources for effective production of the project 
On going site monitoring of construction works, enforcing quality of workmanship, adhering to Clients brief and keeping within the design aims to reach the pre determined goal 
Produce regular client reports on progress and liaison with Contractor to monitor progress  
Monitor project progress via visual graph diagrams, report on budgetary factors including financial status and highlight any risks to Contract period

Strategic Support 
 
The initial planning stages of any project are the most critical. Good planning and attention to detail along with close working relationship with our clients has proven the strong foundation of many of our successful projects. At this early stage we will ensure the following roles are carried out: 
 
Initial design studies and brief development 
Technical studies and feasibility studies 
Financial advice and feasibility on costings 
 
Pre Contract  
 
Following on from the initial strategic support stage we ensure that further roles are fulfilled to allow the Client to make the important decisions and gain the relevant information prior to works commencing. This will involve: 
 
Advising and carrying out Contract procedures 
Development of brief, ensuring clear goals are set 
Carry out further site investigations and surveys 
Evaluation of risks involved, monetary and Health & Safety 
Selection and appointment of Consultants 
Tender preparation and administration
